Meet our magical mer-folk band “SEAHORSES FOREVER”. 3 mermaids, 1 sea witch and 1 seaweed princess. True story.
Flowers in our hair
Mimosas, brunch, flowers everywhere and we are off…
Round & round we go
One birthday, nine friends and countless laughs heard round the carousel.
Heels, Hoops, Hats & Bats!
Color pop! Free & fabulous we saunter the city streets. For more hats from our favorite Australian designer visit Izziana Millinery.
Come with us to Sugarlump! A gem of a coffee lounge we discovered in the Outer Mission. Decked out with an eclectic mix of mid-century furniture, Sugarlump is a charming and welcoming place to vibe out and caffeinate. Whether you are reading, writing or just goofing off with a friend over coffee, the atmosphere at Sugarlump makes you want to stay a while.

What goes better with coffee than Jenga?
Taking our hoops for an early morning spin, we wake up the Tenderloin with vibrant blocks of color and some pretty wide grins.
Colorblocked in one of San Francisco’s most colorful neighborhoods we get a little crazy ourselves, throwing up our hoops and kicking up our heels.
Both sweaters seen here came from our favorite San Francisco based American brand, GAP. If you haven’t heard- The Gap is back!
If you have ever visited Lake George then you are a very lucky person. We were fortunate to be out on Lake George on a perfect Autumn day. The crystal clear lake was wrapped in a rainbow of fall foliage. We embraced the Fall season with a proper leaf fight at Pine Needles camp followed by sunset drinks on our friends boat that we like to call “The Hambird.”
Meet the Glamberjacks. Our crew of glam lumberjack hybrids take on San Francisco’s Lands End trail on one of the most stunning days of the year. Not only had the thunderstorm from the night before cleared away the fog for clear blue skies, but also had left Mile Rock Beach under a blanket of bubbly sea foam. Explore the photos to see our adventure unfold.
Arriving on Mile Rock Beach we are amazed by the massive piles of sandy sea foam. We poke around the rocky beach searching for drift wood.
Our comedic attempt to build a fort out of driftwood.
After our adventure at Lands End, two of us made our way to The Riptide, way out in the very Outer Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco. This perfectly cozy, mermaid-y dive bar sits so close to Ocean Beach you can still smell the sea air upon entering this tucked away gem. The Riptide features live music, a friendly staff, gorgeous wood tables, amazing nautical/mer-folk decor and they never charge a cover. What’s not to love? We may have missed the live music but we thoroughly enjoyed our beers and nutty hot chocolates at this San Francisco treasure. Thank you Riptide. We will be back!

One Valentine’s day birthday is all it took to inspire six friends to paint the town red, white and gold. Armed with Cupid Valentino’s love pistol and a bunch of heart shaped balloons we found our way to the top of Bernal Hill determined to spread the love! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Balloons from Sparky’s Balloons: 115 Clement, San Francisco, CA 94118
Conveniently located as the bottom of Bernal Hill is the adorable, light filled Sandbox Bakery. We treated ourselves to some of their famous baked treats. Delicious blackberry scones and even warm heart shaped buns! Valentine pastry magic in Bernal Heights. Even if you don’t live in the neighborhood, it’s worth the trek to treat yourself!
Sandbox Bakery: 833 Courtland Avenue (at Gates) SF, CA 94110
In celebration of the first day of Spring we are taking you to the Menhir of Klobuky. This standing stone was erected during Celtic times in the tiny village of Klobuky in the Czech Republic. Legend has it that by placing your hands on the stone you are filled with positive, healing energy.
We spent an afternoon at Menhir painting the landscape with colorful ribbons. The vibrant neons and pastels swept thru the golden canvas of wheat fields. You can see the energy of Menhir in our dancing ribbon.
One crazy aunt and one sweetie pie, fun-loving niece spent an afternoon swinging on swings at San Francisco’s Huntington Park. They were not only having a fantastic time, but also showing off the newly bejeweled, sparkling soles of their shoes! Swing Swing! Bling Bling!
Go fly a kite! (or at least give it a try) That’s what we attempted to do on a recent excursion to California’s beautiful Point Reyes. We ambitiously packed our kites to fly them at what is usually a very windy locale. Turns out the day we showed up at Point Reyes was the least windy day of the year. After many hilariously failed attempts, we did finally get some flight time for our kites. Luckily, we had our hula hoops in tow to entertain us when the wind was letting us and and our kites down. From Drakes Beach all the way up to the top of the Point Reyes lighthouse, the killer views will have you falling in love with Northern California. Hope everyone is enjoying Memorial Day out under the blue skies wherever you are.

You are never too old to have a tea party with your best friend. My bestie and I were lucky enough to have tea for two in the lovely Aussie garden at Burnbank farm on a gorgeous summer afternoon. (Aussie summer that is.) We spent hours beforehand laughing and folding over a hundred perfect origami cubes to serve as tiny lanterns for our party. Cheers to good times with great friends! xoxo H+HH
